Katherine Eberle Fink, mezzo-soprano, specializes in teaching singing to ages 15-70, as soloists, music educators, or music therapists. She taught at the University of Iowa School of Music for twenty-seven years and previously at the University of Georgia and the Interlochen Center for the Arts.  As a singing voice advocate, she embraces a wide variety of repertoire including both sacred and secular art song, musical theater, pop, rock, folk, opera and oratorio styles. She has given countless master classes and adjudicated at various music competitions both nationally and internationally.  

As a performer, Dr. Eberle has sung numerous professional engagements with orchestras, choral organizations, and chamber music groups. She currently performs with the Chamber Singers of Iowa City and the Sisters of Song in various concerts throughout Iowa.  Concert credits include solo performances with the symphonies of Detroit, Lansing, and Saginaw (Michigan) and Atlanta, Macon, Rome, and Valdosta (Georgia).  She has given numerous solo recitals as a guest artist in eighteen U.S. states as well as in Brazil, Canada, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Russia, and St. John and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. She made her New York debut at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall in 1994.  She was an Artistic Ambassador for the United States Information Agency doing solo concert tours in South America (in 1995 she appeared in Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Trinidad, and Tobago) and in South Korea in 1997. 

Dr. Eberle earned degrees from Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory (BME), the University of Cincinnati (MM), and the University of Michigan (DMA). As a Van Lawrence Fellowship Winner from the Voice Foundation, she was also awarded a 2012 Obermann Fellow in Residence, for her research on Women Composers.  Her first CD recording titled From a Woman’s Perspective was followed by another CD recording In this Moment which is available on the Albany Record label.
